Economic Development

In 2012, the Better Bridgewater Club and the Bridgewater Development Corporation joined into one organization called the Bridgewater Development Corporation.  The reasoning behind the merger was that both groups were essentially doing the same thing…promoting Bridgewater and the local community. Many of the members belonged to both groups and it seemed like a duplication of meetings.

We need to think positively, promoting our local businesses and showing how important it is to support them. Our local businesses are very important to both the city residents and the farming community.

Come and join the Bridgewater Development Corporation and share your ideas, thoughts and talents.  Membership dues for the group are $100 per year for businesses and $25 for individual members. These dues allow us to continue the sausage and pancake feed in December, along with other ads and promotions as the group sees fit.
